I created a survey online using the website SurveryMonkey so I can see what my future audience would like, here are the results.
A large amount of those who filled out my survey were female. Tough the survey shows a large amount of female participants I will make my magazine uni-sex so that the male populace will like to purchase it.
The ages seem to stick between 16-24 so I will make them my main target audience by introducing young music in my magazine.
Not many who filled out the survey seemed interested in the idea of a music magazine. To change this opinion I will try to fit my magazine to more people.
The genres show a pattern in which one is most preffered. That is pop with alternative closley behind. I will have a mix of the genres in my magazine but also have a bit more pop and alternative in there to appeal to those larger groups.
The price most chosen by the audience was between £1.51 to £2.00 and a few clicked over. As this magazine is monthly which means there will be a large quantity of pages the price will be a little higher than that but still between the most chosen prices.
The vote shows that people would prefer their magazine to be monthly so the magazine I created will also be monthly.
Free download had the highest percentage so I shall offer free downloads in my magazine.
