I found this photo when I went on Google and searched "Rolling Stones cover". I then proceeded to edit it by labelling the key features of magazines.
Masthead: Is the logo of the magazine.
Main Cover line: Massive heading that is normally no more then five words. This gives a short and snappy snip-it of what the article inside is about.
Subheading: Explains somewhat of the story, like a teaser.
Essential Info: This is the date, issue number, price and i the magazine has a website.
Cover line: This shows on the cover what the magazine contains for the reader.

Bethany, although brief you have identified the key features of a magazine cover and touched upon their purpose.
ReplyDeleteNote - portfolios are also marked on presentation, so I would go back through your posts and check for spelling, there are a few letters missing here and there in this post.
